I currently attend Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen and I am in my fourth year studying towards Painting BA(Hons).

My  work focuses on my fascination with light, colour, dynamism, balance and interconnectedness.

My inspiration often stems from natural forms or from figures. I have a background in mathematics and I sometimes use forms borrowed from mathematics and science as a starting point for my themes. I fluctuate between abstract and figurative work.

I am predominantly an oil painter, however I have been seduced by the rich Prussian blue colour of cyanotype and lately I started to make large scale cyanotypes using industrial size UV light bed. These cyanotypes serve as starting points for further painterly developments. I use oil and acrylic paint, ink and resin in my creative process.
